What is PANTHOL EYE and what is it used for?
PANTHOL EYE forms a sterile, viscoelastic, clear protective film on the corneal layer of the eye, free of preservatives.
PANTHOL EYE contains sodium hyaluronate, which is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid and, due to its superior physical properties, forms a uniformly stable protective film on the corneal layer that can remain for a very long time without impairing vision.
PANTHOL EYE also contains provitamin B5 (dexpanthenol), which moisturizes and protects the eye thanks to its high water-binding capacity. This provides adequate support for the moisturizing properties of sodium hyaluronate. The combination of sodium hyaluronate (tear film stabilizer) and dexpanthenol (protective and soothing) protects, moisturizes, and lubricates the eye surface. This combination provides long-lasting soothing relief for eye conditions caused by: Mechanical strain from wearing hard or soft contact lenses or during diagnostic procedures; Environmental stress from air conditioning, wind, cold, dryness, or airborne pollutants such as cigarette smoke; or Eye strain from working while looking at a computer screen or microscope, or driving for extended periods.
